Publishing & Sharing Courses
Control who can access your course and share it with students or the community.
Publishing a course is the moment it moves from your private workspace into the hands of students. Wittigo gives you fine-grained control over who can see and access your content, from keeping it completely private to sharing it with the entire global community.
Visibility Options
- Once your course is ready, open it and click "Publish". Unpublished courses are only visible to you.
- Set visibility: Private (only you), School (your organization's teachers and students), or Public (the entire Wittigo community).
- Share the course link directly with students — they do not need a teacher account to view and progress through a published public course.
- Students can track their progress through a course using the built-in progress tracker. Completed activities are marked with a checkmark.
- Public courses are listed in the community Course Library where other teachers can discover and use them. You earn Resource Exchange credits for community contributions.
- You can duplicate a course to create an adapted version for a different grade or subject without losing the original.
Student Access
One of the most powerful features of Wittigo courses is that students do not need accounts. When you share a public course link, any student with the URL can access it. Their progress is saved in their browser, so they can leave and return later. For schools with student accounts enabled, progress syncs across devices.
