Google Classroom Integration

Import your Google Classroom rosters directly into Wittigo in seconds.

Manually typing student names is tedious and error-prone. If your school uses Google Classroom, you can import entire rosters into Wittigo with just a few clicks. The integration is read-only and secure — Wittigo never modifies your Google Classroom data, and no student emails are stored.

Connecting Your Account

1. In the Engagement section, click "Import from Google Classroom". If you have not connected your Google account yet, you will be prompted to do so.
2. Click "Connect Google Account" and complete the OAuth authorization. Wittigo only requests read access to your Google Classroom rosters — it cannot modify your Google data.
3. Once connected, your Google Classroom courses appear in a list. Select the class you want to import.
4. Wittigo imports all student names from the selected Google Classroom course and creates a classroom for you automatically.
5. You can sync again later to pick up new students who joined Google Classroom after your initial import.
6. The Google Classroom integration does not share any Wittigo game data back to Google — it is a one-way import for your convenience.

Privacy & Security

We take data privacy seriously. The Google Classroom integration uses OAuth 2.0 with the minimum required permissions. We only read roster names — we cannot see grades, assignments, or any other Classroom content. Student names imported into Wittigo are stored securely and are only visible within your account.
