Managing Lessons & Activities
Build lesson-by-lesson content with diverse activity types including games and videos.
Lessons are the building blocks of your course. Each lesson is a container for activities that students complete in sequence. The variety of activity types means you can mix quizzes, videos, documents, and interactive challenges to create a rich, multimodal learning experience that keeps students engaged from start to finish.
Activity Types
Inside a course, click "Add Lesson" to create a new lesson container. Then click "Add Activity" within that lesson to choose from the available types:
MCQ Quiz
Links to one of your saved MCQ games. Students answer questions in a self-paced format with instant feedback. Great for knowledge checks and practice.
Story Quest
An immersive narrative quiz where students progress through a story-driven adventure. Branching paths and character choices make this ideal for deep engagement with literature, history, or science scenarios.
Head Tilt
Students use their webcam to tilt and answer true/false or two-choice questions. Works well as a quick check-in or brain break between seated activities.
Word Connect
Students drag and connect related terms. Ideal for vocabulary, matching, and concept mapping. The visual nature of connections helps students see relationships between ideas.
Video
Embed a YouTube link or upload a video file. Students watch the video as part of their lesson before moving to the next activity. Perfect for flipped classroom models.
Document
Attach a PDF, worksheet, or reading resource. Students view the document and then continue with the next activity. Use this for readings, reference sheets, or printable handouts.
Drag the activities to reorder them within a lesson. Use the trash icon to remove an activity. You can preview the entire lesson flow before publishing to ensure the pacing feels right.
