Copying & Customising Public Games

Clone any public game into your own library and tailor it to your class.

Found a game that is almost perfect, but not quite right for your class? Copy it. When you copy a public game, you get your own editable version without affecting the original. This lets you adapt questions for your curriculum, translate content for ESL students, or adjust difficulty for different ability groups.

How to Copy

  1. Find a game you want to use in the Library. Click the "Copy to My Games" button.
  2. The game is duplicated into your own My Games collection. The original public game is not affected.
  3. Open your copy and edit any questions, add new ones, change the game mode, or adjust visibility.
  4. You can run the copied game live immediately after copying, without needing to modify anything.
  5. Copied games count toward your active game limit on the Free plan. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited games.
  6. If you make significant improvements to a copied game, consider publishing your version back to the community to help other teachers.

Best Practices

When copying, always credit the original creator in your mind, even if the platform does not require it. If you find errors in a public game, consider notifying the creator rather than just fixing your copy — it helps the whole community. And if you create a truly exceptional adaptation, pay it forward by publishing it. The library grows stronger when teachers share generously.
